Sundays at Six presents Green Buddha on July 12

Sundays at Six continues on Sunday, July 12th in Cole Park at 6:00pm with Colorado’s original NoCoast Reggae Rockers, Green Buddha. Having shared stages with Stephen Marley, The Wailers, Iration, and more, you’d be crazy to miss out on such good music and good vibes.

Established in 2015, Green Buddha’s unique original sound blends influences from reggae, funk, ska, and New Orleans soul. Beloved as one of Colorado’s best live bands, Green Buddha delivers a blistering musical performance experience full of original songs that captivate the hearts and minds of concert goers. Over the years, Green Buddha has played shows with Arise Roots, Sa Martinez (311), Common Kings, Collie Budz, The Green, Fortunate Youth, John Browns Body, Artikal Sound System, Denm and many more amazing artists at shows and festivals around the United States.

After more than 10 years on the music scene, Green Buddha is undeniably one of Colorado’s best original bands to experience live. The band’s unwavering commitment to their music through challenging times and the ever changing music industry landscape has been a driving force behind their success. Founded by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Seth Strickland, Green Buddha’s personnel line up also includes bassist Matt Grundstad (Euforquestra, Dubskin), Drummer Lem Williams (Jyemo Club, Maxwell) and keyboardist Matthew Wright (Euforquestra/Dubskin).

“The band’s name celebrates the selfless path and the gift of music; a vibration of healing given to us from the creator…the music and the songs chose me; I didn’t really have a choice in it,” says Green Buddha’s front man, Seth Strickland.
