That’s why we’re inviting Belinda Vargas, a local Latin dance instructor to show us the ropes. Belinda Vargas is a Latin dance instructor specializing in salsa and bachata who began dancing in 2010 and has been teaching since 2013–2014. Trained primarily in On1 salsa (New York–style timing), she focuses on making dance approachable, fun, and accessible for all experience levels. Belinda currently teaches structured beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses within the Alamosa community, emphasizing connection, musicality, and confidence-building through movement. She is passionate about bringing people together through dance and creating joyful, inclusive experiences where participants can learn, connect, and celebrate music and culture.
