The Alamosa Live Music Association presents Mariachi San Luis at Sundays at Six, August 2nd in Cole Park, Alamosa. Come celebrate our region’s Hispanic heritage with a favorite local Mariachi group.
Although mariachi music originated in Jalisco, Mexico, groups in the United States have appropriated the style as a proud expression of their heritage, and, although they appeal to audiences of any ethnicity, Mariachi San Luis is a fine example of this movement.
Sundays at Six is a free outdoor concert series in Cole Park, Alamosa. Concerts start at 6 p.m. Check out this year’s line up. In case of bad weather, go to ALMA’s website and Facebook page to find out about cancellations or change of venue.
