Keep on providing free music and getting some bigger names we won’t otherwise get to see.

Where are you originally from and what brought you to the San Luis Valley?
Born in New York City, retired from New Jersey
How long have you been a part of ALMA and how did you get involved?
24 years, Julie Mordecai, ALMA president in 2002, asked me to join the board and become Treasurer.
Can you share a favorite memory or milestone from your time on the board?
Too many memories to pick one. Some standouts were hosting the Colorado Symphony twice, several visits of Tommy Emmanuel and George Winston and the Christmas show of Michael Martin Murphy.
Why is music important to you? Why do you think it is important for our community?
Music brings people together in something we all enjoy.
