The Alamosa Live Music Association has provided free live music in Cole Park all summer long with its Sundays at Six concert series. The SLV Big Band helped us forget that Sundays at Six is coming to a close, but now it’s a reality. It’s okay to cry. But don’t cry too hard because this upcoming Sunday’s final performance is going to be one for the books. The 2025 Battle of the Bands winner, A Butter Way, will be gracing the Cole Park stage on August 24th at 6:00pm and we couldn’t be more excited. Check them out HERE. A Butter Way is a punk rock/party band based out of Alamosa, Colorado. Going two years strong, the band consists of Mike on drums, Garrett on guitar/vocals, and Nichole on bass/lead vocals. They cover artists like Selena, Prince, and Dean Martin, all with a unique twist. They also have a few originals up their sleeves, which will be heard during their performance on August 24th. They are spunky, punky, and ready to make you move your feet, so make sure you get your feet to Cole Park this Sunday!
Remember to grab your dinner and sweet treat from Tacos Martinez and Frosty Acres Rolled Ice Cream. ALMA will once again be collecting food items for the Alamosa Food Pantry, so please bring your non-perishable items. This might be the last Sundays at Six performance, but don’t forget to make your way down to Main Street on September 5th for our second-annual Roaming Rhythms First Friday’s takeover, where five spectacular local bands will play in four of your favorite businesses.
