Music For All Ears From The Indian Nickel Band This Sunday At Six

Listen to the music of the Indian Nickel Band and you will hear a variety of music: Spanish, old rock-n-roll, pop, country and much more. The Alamosa Live Music Association presents Indian Nickel kicking off this year’s “Sundays at Six,” series of free admission live concerts this Sun., June 26, at 6pm, in Alamosa’s Cole Park.

Indian Nickel has a song to please every ear: young, old and from every ethnic background. Founded in 1970, the variety of music from this band has been pleasing audiences throughout the San Luis Valley and beyond ever since.

With their “Get Up and Dance” variety of cumbias, country, rock & roll, and oldies, it is no wonder why Indian Nickel has been called the hardest working band in the valley.

Tasties hot dogs and the San Luis Valley Brewing Company are scheduled to sell food at the summer Sundays at Six shows all season.

Mariachi Encantadoras del Rio Grande is a highly regarded group of young female musicians from northern New Mexico, and they play everything from traditional sones to classical works and popurrís on Sun., July 3 at 6pm.

ALMA’s gracious members and business sponsors support the free summer “Sundays @ Six,” concerts and other ALMA events.
