An Evening with Mexican Folk Musician Luna Itzel

Luna ItzelOn Friday, June 27  Luna Itzel will be giving a concert at Calvillo’s Restaurant in Alamosa.  The concert begins at 6 p.m. Luna Itzel is credited with the most beautiful  and expressive voice on Mexico’s contemporary music scene.  The tickets are $15.00 and may be obtained by contacting  anyone at the SLV Immigrant Resource Center 719-587-3225. Ticket proceeds go towards supporting the work of the SLV Immigrant Resource Center.

Sundays at Six starts this week!

The Wendy Woo Band

The 2014 Sundays at Six season kicks off this Sunday, June 29 with the pop/rock group The Wendy Woo Band from Denver.  The Wendy Woo Band performs catchy, upbeat songs that get everyone of all ages up and dancing! As Colorado’s music scene has exploded over the past few years, one of its mainstays has been Wendy Woo. Her energetic personality, musical skills, and spirited songwriting have made her a fan favorite.
