ALMA is helping to co-sponsor the 3rd Annual Concert for Cancer Relief at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 15 at Leon Memorial Hall on the ASU Campus. Performers include acclaimed singer/songwriters, Tish Hinojosa, Michael Hearne and Don Richmond. The concert will feature a Songwriters in the Round format, with all three performers on stage taking turns singing their own songs, adding comments about the music – and occasionally accompanying each other instrumentally and on harmony vocals.
Besides being the major fundraising activity for the SLVCRF, the concerts help raise awareness about what the organization does. Their mission is to help lift the spirits of SLV cancer patients through offering a small monetary gift to use as needed – no strings attached.
