UPDATE 02/15: It looks like an urgent family matter means Sweet Radish will not be able to play. However we hope to have some other musical surprises in store, though.

Faced with a requirement to take a year off from receiving a vital grant from Colorado Creative Industries (formerly the Colorado Council on the Arts), the Alamosa Live Music Association (ALMA) has received a foundation offer to help make up that shortfall and ensure a full season of Sundays@Six shows in Cole Park this summer. But ALMA only receives the funding if it raises enough money in new and upgraded memberships. To spotlight this effort and celebrate a wealth of local musical talent, ALMA presents ALMA and friends in concert, Wed., Feb. 16, 7pm, at the Bistro Rialto on Main St. in downtown Alamosa.

The line-up includes Latin classical music, Celtic tunes, local singer-songwriters, acoustic folk, bluegrass, jazz and more. Sweet Radish, Rhonda Mouser, Alison Kitchen, Tracy and James Doyle, Lucas and Rosa Salazar are confirmed performers, with more sure to come. Valley singer-songwriter ANTONIO LOPEZ now confirmed to play, too. Tickets are $10, and performers are donating their talents, so all proceeds will be used to support Sundays@Six.
