ALMA is happy to announce the fourth concert of our summer series.

The series continues Sun., July 27, at 6pm with the Sisters Morales. The best music knows no boundaries, transcends borders and genres, and mixes, matches and melds styles into something all an artist's own. Doing just that comes naturally to Sisters Morales.

In support of their latest CD, "Talking to the River", produced by Steve Berlin from Los Lobos, these gals from San Antonio and their stellar band will be putting on a crowd pleasing, cross-cultural, roots-country-latino stew. The San Luis Valley Farmers Market

The Alamosa Uptown and River Association (AURA) organizes the San Luis Valley Farmers Market on Saturdays between July 12 and Oct. 11, at Centennial Park, between Main St. and 6th St. and between State Ave. and Hunt Ave. in Alamosa, and ALMA helps present live music various Saturdays during the season.

• July 12 - Leigh Ann Phillips presents elegant songs using piano and vocals, from 10 AM to noon.
• July 19 - Rose Vialpondo and Salomon Lopez, known as Los Cancioneros del Valle, present traditional songs of the San Luis valley at the Farmers Market from 10:30am until 12:30pm.
• August 9 - Crestone Mountain Thunder Taiko drummers present dramatic traditional Japanese percussion music , from 11am until noon.
• August 23 - Acoustic folk and other music from Mark Dudrow and Justin Dean will fill the air, from 10am until noon.

ALMA’s gracious members and business sponsors help support the "Sundays at Six," series of free concerts most Sundays between July 6 and Aug. 24 in Alamosa’s Cole Park and other ALMA events.
